On a bitter cold and windy night the Dragons traveled to Goodrich to open their 2014 season. The rain and snow held off almost entirely, but the wind was fierce. Both teams overcame the elements and played a great game. In the end it was the Dragons who would come out on top.

The nightcap was way behind on time and daylight became an issue. Goodrich came out swinging, while taking advantage of wild pitches and big hits. But the game barely lasted 4 innings. MHSAA rules state a game must go 5 innings to be counted, so the game did not count.
The Dragons will open Flint Metro League play Thursday night at Linden.
